  • Subscription data: payment status, subscription start/end dates, and transaction references from Paystack.
  • Learning activity: courses enrolled, lesson progress, exercise attempts, and certificates earned.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and login timestamps — used for security and fraud prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the LMS platform
  • To process your subscription payments via Paystack
  • To send important account and course notifications
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • To improve the platform and course content

3. Payment Information

We do not store your card or mobile money credentials. All payments are processed by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We only store a transaction reference so we can verify successful payments.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share information with:

  • Paystack — for payment processing
  • Email service providers — to send transactional emails
  • Legal authorities — when required by Ghanaian law

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of non-essential emails at any time

Terms of Service

Welcome to OBC LMS. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform.
  • One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

2. Subscriptions & Access

  • Premium access is provided on a monthly subscription basis (GHS 20/month).
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel anytime — access remains until the end of your paid period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, or redistribute course content
  • Copy, download, or scrape videos, lessons, or exercises without permission
  • Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform
  • Use the platform for any illegal activity
  • Impersonate another person or account

4. Content & Ownership

All course materials — videos, text, exercises, and images — are owned by OdooMBus Consults or the individual instructors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to access the content for personal learning only.

5. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued when you complete all required lessons and exercises in a course. Certificates are for personal and professional use and may not be forged or misrepresented.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. If your account is terminated for violation, no refund will be issued.

7. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific learning outcomes. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with OBC LMS. If something isn't right, here's how our refund policy works.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you're not satisfied with your subscription within the first 7 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund — provided you have not completed more than 2 lessons in any course.

2. Refunds Are Not Available For

  • Renewal payments after the first 7 days
  • Accounts that have completed 2+ lessons in any premium course
  • Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • Requests made more than 7 days after payment

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us at info@odoombusinessconsults.com
  2. Include your registered email and Paystack transaction reference (starts with SUB_)
  3. State the reason for your refund request

We'll respond within 2 business days.

4. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The refund will be sent back to the same Mobile Money number used for payment.

Cancellation vs Refund: Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically issue a refund for the current period. If you want a refund, you must request it separately within the eligibility window.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

If you were double-charged or experienced a technical failure that prevented access, we will always make it right regardless of the timeline. Just contact us with details.
